I’m so proud to announce that Women in Games named me the winner of the 2022 Women in Games Global award for Games or Esport Educator! I’m so proud of all the outstanding finalists and winners and so humbled to be named beside them in these wonderful awards!

I’m so excited to announce that the chatbot project I am a part of with Dr Michele Jarldorn and the wonderful Seeds of Affinity has been invited to partner with the Fay Fuller Foundation for Discovery!
The Discovery partnership allows us to continue to develop and co-design our Lindabot with Seeds across the next 2 years. We are so proud to be partnering with the amazing Fay Fuller Foundation and I’m so happy they share our vision and goal to work closely with Seeds and ensure the Lindabot project is as successful as it can be!
The below write-up of the project comes from the Fay Fuller Foundation’s Discovery Grants Announcement:
Co-designing a technology-based-solution to improve the health and mental wellbeing of formerly incarcerated women.
This partnership will develop and bring to life a Messenger chatbot to support women with lived-prison-experience navigate release from prison in compassionate and supportive ways. ‘Lindabot’ will be workshopped and prototyped in collaboration with women who have been or are currently experiencing incarceration and will be supported by Seeds of Affinity. It is envisioned that through the co-development process understanding will emerge of how new avenues could be developed for formerly incarcerated women to determine their own support needs for the critical transition post release.

This is a global award that recognises games educators and I am so humbled to be named as a finalist alongside some wonderful women!
